2025-26 Morris Area Honor Choir Information and Timeline:

✅ Tuesday, October 7, 2025 - Mandatory Director Meeting 5-6pm (zoom link sent via email)

✅ Wednesday, November 5, 2025 by 11:59pm - Student applications and audio uploads due

✅ Friday, November 14, 2025 by 5:00pm - Teachers must confirm all files and complete any additional uploads or payments for students ($20 per student)

November 18-22, 2025 - Judges view and score files on TheDirectorsRoom.com by 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 22

Tuesday, November 25, 2025 - Results will be sent out

Friday, December 19, 2025 - Participation fees due ($30 per student)

Tuesday, January 27, 2026 - Mandatory Director Meeting 5-6pm (zoom link sent via email)

TheDirectorsRoom.com Information

Here is some basic information to get you started:

• TheDirectorsRoom.com - Log in if already a user, or Register
• Click the “Schools” link
  • If you have just registered, click the “Add” button and complete the form to add your school.
  • If you can log in, your school should be listed.  Click the ‘Edit’ button to confirm the information, especially the start year and grades taught.
• Click the "Students" link
  • Here you can view your eligible (current) students and edit their information if needed
• Click the "Events" link, then "Event Participation"
  • Click MAHC 2026.  This will be your landing page to view your student registrations, edit individual students, and upload recordings if needed
  • You will need to acknowledge the teacher obligations prior to getting access to your information.
  • If your school will be paying, you will need to turn OFF the Paypal option for students.  Click "Teacher Payment" and then select the correct option for student payment.   Paypal will automatically be on for students who are registering to complete payments.

Main Pages on the website you will use:

• Eligible Student Roster - shows status of each student
• Teacher Payments - directors can see student payments, pay for all via paypal, or select cash/check
  • When you have at least one fully registered student, the PayPal payment button will be visible
• Estimate - shows the students who are fully registered

Student Application Info

• Go to StudentFolder.info
• Register or log in
• Go to the Morris Area Honor Choir event
• Double check all contact info on the application page
• Pay via paypal if applicable
• Students and Parents sign the eApplication
• Click link for pitch files
• Upload files for scales/solo

Judging Info

• Adjudication will take place November 18-21 2025.  All adjudication must be completed by 5:00pm on the 21st.

• Online Adjudication will simulate in-person judging with three judges in a room.  Judges must remain within a specified tolerance in scoring
  • Scales = 5 points, Solo = 5 points
  • If scores fall out of tolerance, decisions to add or subtract points must be made in your judging.  Once the three scores are in tolerance, the scoring is accepted by the system. 
• ​Once you log on to TheDirectorsRoom.com  and enter your assigned “room”, you will see contact information for your fellow judges at the top of the screen.  You can connect with your fellow judges during the adjudication period to correct any issues with score tolerances.
• Scores and results will be available on TheDirectorsRoom.com the week of November 24, 2025
